His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, in the presence of the Minister of Housing, Majed Al-Hogail, handed over 100 housing units to a number of citizens registered in the lists of the Ministry of Housing, representing the first batch of the “Nesaj Town Project” located on the land of the Ministry of Housing in the city of Dammam developed by Retal Urban Development Company.
The prince of the eastern province valued the efforts made by the Ministry of Housing to serve the citizens registered on its lists, praising its important role in facilitating citizens’ ownership of the first home, and launching many housing projects in the area to meet the increasing demand in it.
From his part, the Minister of Housing, Majed Al-Hogail, expressed his thanks to the Governor of the Eastern Province for sponsoring the opening ceremony and handing over the housing units to the beneficiaries, appreciating His Highness for his great support for the housing sector and his permanent follow-up to housing projects in the Eastern Province.
Al-Hogail stated during his speech at the handover ceremony: “The Ministry of Housing, represented by the “sakani” program, is reaping the fruits of real partnership with the private sector, through the continuation of construction work in 46 projects, in which delivery began before the end of last year, and continues today in the “Nesaj Town “project, stressing that the coming period will witness the continuation of handover operations in a number of projects in various regions of the Kingdom.
The Minister of Housing explained that these projects are no longer just villas or apartments, but have gone beyond that to turn into residential complexes with integrated services and facilities, ensuring that they contain all the elements of quality of life, pointing out that in “Nesaj Town” the Prince of the Eastern Province laid the foundation stone for a service center to the project, which includes a mosque, public parks, commercial facilities, and a community center, which will be provided in all major projects implemented by the ministry in partnership with the private sector.
He explained that the ceremony was on the occasion of the delivery of the first 100 housing units out of a total of 700 housing units in the “Nesaj Town” project, within 10,000 units in the project, pointing out that “Retal” delivered the project in less than 8 months, which is a record number.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Retal Urban Development, Abdullah Al-Fawzan, expressed his pride in the patronage and support of His Royal Highness, the Governor of the Eastern Province, for the handover ceremony. He added that the “Nesaj Town” project is among the important housing projects on the land of the Ministry of Housing in Dammam, as it is located on an area of 200,000 square meters, and provides 674 housing units of the type of villas and townhouses, confirming the completion of the construction operations in the project, and finishing in the phase The first, which includes 100 housing units, and the continuation of the completion of the remaining stages in order to complete the entire project and hand it over to the beneficiaries before the specified time.
