As the strategic partner and sponsor of urban development for the second year in a row, we conclude our participation today in the Future Real Estate Forum, which was held in Riyadh from January 23 to 25, 2023, under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, and in the presence and participation of several local authorities. And regional and international, where the forum discussed the present and future of real estate in various dialogue sessions and workshops; To cover 10 strategic axes that included all aspects of the real estate sector in the Kingdom, with an accompanying real estate exhibition.
In Retal, we also signed a memorandum of understanding with Blom Invest to establish 4 real estate funds with the aim of developing commercial, tourism and residential projects worth 4 billion Saudi riyals in the Riyadh region and the eastern region.
As an extension of our active participation in the past year, we actively participated in the dialogue sessions of the Future of Real Estate Forum in its second edition to enrich the audience, in addition to the accompanying exhibition to review the latest societies and projects, to learn about the experiences of the relevant authorities, and to present our experience in conjunction with the activities of the exhibition.
It is noteworthy that the Future of Real Estate Forum, in its second edition, discussed a number of axes related to the real estate system in the Kingdom, the most prominent of which are the efforts made by the competent authorities to upgrade this system through several initiatives, including the employment of modern technologies, smart applications, and the establishment of legislative laws and regulations that make the real estate sector an attractive sector. In addition to supporting several other sectors, including tourism, industry and trade.
